What grade/subject do you teach?

3rd Math, 6th Reading, Writing, Language Arts

How many years have you taught?

 This is my 9th year

How many years have you taught at Thayer Central Community Schools?

 This is my 1st year

            If you are new to our school where have you taught before?

                 I was in Dorchester for the past 8 years

What’s your favorite thing about Thayer Central?

(Lunch, kids, sports, etc.)

 I really enjoyed football, but so far everything has been very good.

What do you think makes Thayer Central special?

 The way everyone works together to make it a great place. Even the support activities receive and all the community support.

What’s your favorite thing about the community?

(Parent involvement, attendance to games/programs, world’s largest porch swing etc.)

 Both parent involvement and game attendance. It is wonderful to see small communities rally, get out, and support everything. I also love Smitty's donuts.

What’s some advice you would like to give to students?

 Pay attention in class and give your best effort all the time.

Who’s your hero?

 My wife and also my parents

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?

Somewhere warm with lots of beaches, water, privacy and a large TV with satellite and a hammock.

What’s your favorite pastime?

 Fishing and watching football

Tell a little about your family.

My wife's name is Kim and we have been married 7 years. We have a daughter, Sydny who is 4.
