School Board Meetings

Thayer Central School Board of Education meetings are scheduled on the second Monday of the month. During Standard Time, November - March, meetings begin at 7:30 P.M. During Daylight Savings time, April - October, meetings begin at 8:00 P.M. Meetings are held in the high school media center. Posting of meetings and agendas can be seen on the door of the entryway at the high school and in the Chester and Hebron Post Office lobbies. Individuals are welcome to attend meetings. If anyone wishes to address the Board of Education unannounced, there is a Public Comment time at the beginning of each agenda with a three minute time limit. Contact the superintendent at least four working days in advance of the meeting to be placed on the agenda with a topic for discussion or a proposal to be considered.
