Mrs. Karen Boatright is an English instructor for Thayer Central
Community Schools. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in
English from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln. She loves
English literature and working with young people. In addition to
teaching, she serves as yearbook sponsor, Fellowship of Christian
Athletes Huddle Coach, and sophomore class sponsor.
Aside from school activities and classroom preparation, she is
active at her church, New Life Assembly of God, Hebron, where her
husband, Tim, pastors. He also works at the South East Alternative
High School. They have two children, Abigail and Ethan. In addition
to spending time with family and friends, Karen takes pleasure from
baking and horse riding.
