Thank you to the Hebron Lions Club for scheduling the Lions screening van for the annual vision and hearing screenings for all Thayer Central students. Also to the Lions who volunteered their time to help on Feb, 21 and 22. The van traveled to more that 80 schools across Nebraska during the school year to assist with the screenings. Only local Lions Club can schedule the van. It contains vision equipment and a separate room where three students can get their ears checked all at once. The school nurse retests any who fail the screening and notifies parents if there is a problem. Thank you to the Hebron Lions Club for their time and effort.
