Thayer Central Junior High Girls competed at the Superior Invitational track meet at Superior on Saturday, March 29^th.

Claire Timmerman earned second place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 70.13. Kinsey Tietjen and Brittney Gress placed 4^th and 5^th with times of 70:65 and 72:74.

Third places included Maggie Goldhammer with a throw of 72 feet 2 inches in the discus. Kinsey Tietjen also jumped 27 feet 1 ½ inches in the triple jump. Bridgette Baden also earned third in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:38:03.

In the 200 meter dash Brittney Gress placed 3^rd with a time of 31:36 and Amber Burdette placed fourth with 31:76.

Placing 4^th in the High Jump were Brittney Gress with a jump of 4’ 6” and 6^th place was Jasmine Kovacs with 4’ 4”.

In the Long Jump Bridgette Baden jumped 12’ 11” and Kinsey Tietjen jumped 12’ 9 ½” earning them 4^th and 5^th places.

Fourth place went to Kaely Ayala in the Pole Vault jumping 5’ 6” and Brittney Gress running 14.32 in the 100 meter dash.

Bridgette Baden placed fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:03.

The 4 x 200 meter relay placed 5^th with a time of 2:19:94. Members of the 4 x 2 relay were Claire Timmerman, Ashley Peterson, Morgan Fangemeier, and Claire Johnson. The 4 x 400 meter relay placed 3^rd with a time of 5:08:53. Members were Kinsey Tietjen, Claire Johnson, Bridgette Baden, and Claire Timmerman.

Thayer Central girls finished 4^th overall. Congrats!
