6th Grade D.A.R.E.

The 6th class has been participating in the D.A.R.E. program 2nd semester. They are working with Trooper Trantham from Beatrice. D.A.R.E. class meets on Wednesday mornings.
Lessons in D.A.R.E. teach the students facts about drug and alcohol use and give them alternative activities to do instead of the drugs. They also work on various ways to say "No" to drugs.
The class enjoyed meeting with seven high school role models. They were allowed to ask them questions about their junior high and high school experiences. The panel did a very nice job of answering their questions.
D.A.R.E. graduation will be held on May 7th at 2:00 in the TC Middle School gym. The public is invited.
