Junior High Speech Winners
Students compete in local contest

The local junior high level competition for The Modern Woodmen of America speech contest was held on Monday, May 5. This year’s topic was “An American Landmark.”
The 2008 winners are Russell Heitmann, first place; Tarryn Tietjen, second; and Sara Bulin, third. These students will advance to district competition, which will be held at Meridian School on May 17.
