"Spring forward, Fall back!"

The phrase "Spring forward, Fall back" helps people remember how Daylight Saving Time affects their clocks. At 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March, we set our clocks forward one hour ahead of Standard Time ("Spring forward"). We "Fall back" at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November by setting our clock back one hour and thus returning to Standard Time.

Everyone is welcome to attend the third annual Vocabulary Parade to be held Wednesday, March 17th starting at 9:15 in the Thayer Central High School gym. All students, whether with their class or as individuals, will be participating.
What is a vocabulary parade? It is where a class or student selects a word and carefully constructs a costume they feel represents or displays the meaning of that word through costume. Don't miss this magnificent (impressive, splendid) parade of costumed words!

On February 9, sixty-eight Thayer Central students participated in the annual American Mathematics Competition (AMC). The contest is divided into two sections—one for freshman and sophomore mathematics students and the other for juniors and seniors. In each section students are given 25 multiple choice questions to solve. Points are awarded for correct answers and un-attempted problems, while no points are granted for incorrect answers.
