Seth Wiedel Claims Two Gold Medals
3rd Place finish for Titan Boys Team

The Titan Boys' track team finished the season with a 3rd place at the 2009 State Track and Field Championships held May 22 and 23.
Seth Wiedel led the Titan scoring by winning the Class C gold medal in the Triple Jump with a jump of 45 feet 11 1/4 inches. He also repeated as the Class C champion in the Long Jump with a leap of 22 feet 9 inches.
Seth also brought home 2 silver medals in the 100 (11.14) and the 200 (22.66)
Also scoring for the Titans was the 4 x 100 Relay run by Braden Burkey, 11, Nicholas Burkhardt, 11, Cody Pachta, 10, and Trevor Wit, 12. The finishing time was 44.93, good enough for an 8th place finish.
Jeffery Bantam competed as a sophomore to a 12th place finish in the High Jump (6' 0"), while James Long, a senior, ended his discus career with a throw of 131 feet 4 inches to finish 15th.
The 4 x 800 relay competed on Friday finishing 11th with a time of 8:35.96. Team members included Kieffer Mumm, Kesston Fink, Will Goldhammer and Michael Feulner.
For the girls, Allie Kenning competed in the 100 m High Hurdles.
