Titans Fosh Defeats Heatland

Utilizing the fast start, the Thayer Central Titans freshman boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season as they defeated the visiting Heartland Huskies by a score of 39-21. The Titans led 22-1 half time. 

Leading the Titans were the guard tandem of Kalen Wenske and Macauly Mumm. Wenske scored eight, while Mumm added seven. Classmates Trenton Tietjen and Cody Mumm added six points each. Brian Loontjer and Dietrich Brinegar added four each. Loontjer, Wenske and Mumm led the Titans in rebounding. 

The young Titans will next see action after the first game of the year. On January 7th, the Tians will take on the Tri County Trojans in Hebron. Tip off for the game will be approximately 7:30 pm.
