Thayer Central Girls Split Games

The Lady Titans split the weekend going 1-1 with a win over Milford 61-44 and a loss to Sutton 35-65. Against Sutton the Lady Titans fought hard but just fell short of the highly ranked Sutton Fillies. Leading the Titans were Juniors Cody Long with 13 points and Michaela Marsh with 10. Long also led in rebounding with 7 and Melissa Bulin and Marsh each added 4.

Saturday night the Lady Titans played a very impressive game holding the lady Eagles to zero fourth quarter points. Leading the way for the Titans was Michaela Marsh with 18 points. Sheila Heitmann added 16 and Cody Long added 13. Long led the way for the rebounding effort as she grabbed 11 boards. Marsh added 8.
