News from the Vocal Music Department

The Thayer Central High School Concert Choir has been selected to sing at the Capitol. Each year a variety of school music groups audition and are invited to perform to commemorate. "Music In Our Schools" week. This year five instrumental and five vocal groups will participate. Thayer Central will sing on Tuesday, March 2nd at 12:30. The public is welcome.
Courtney Yoachim auditioned and earned a spot in the Hastings Honor Choir. This is the oldest honor choir in Nebraska. The Thayer Central senior spent a few days in rehearsal which culminated in a concert on Saturday, February 6th.
