Pop Open a Good Book

National Popcorn day was celebrated at Thayer Central Intermediate School on Thursday January 19. Each day in the announcements the students heard a new fact about popcorn. On Thursday all the intermediate students and teachers gathered in the library to “pop open a good book”. Betty Meyer (school librarian) and Bonnie Kassebaum (library para) gave students a popcorn book mark and a bag of popcorn to eat while reading.
