Southern Nebraska Conference

The Thayer Central Track team competed at the Southern Nebraska Conference on Saturday, April 28th.The boys team were conference champions with 86 team points, 8 above Tri County. The 4x1 team (Macaulay Mumm, Jacob Kniep, Brayden Hergott, Dalton Kenning) finished 8th with a time of 47.34. The 4x4 team (Greg Dightman, Macaulay Mumm, Jared Marsh, Kalen Wenske) placed 3rd with a time of 3:35.35. The 4x8 team (Michael Feulner, Tyler Van Cleef, Jared Marsh, Kalen Wenske) placed 1st with a time of 8:27.12. Congratulations to the following for placing:

Greg Dightman - 1st in 200m dash, 2nd in triple jump, 3rd in triple jump

Kalen Wenske - 3rd in 800m run

Michael Feulner - 1st in 1600m run

Trev Mumm - 2nd in 1600m run

Tyler Van Cleef - 6th in 1600m run

Adam Hellbusch - 6th in 3200m run

Cameron Asche - 5th in 110m hurdles, 2nd in long jump

Dalton Kenning - 5th in pole vault

Andrew Wilshusen - 2nd in discus

Girls' Results

The girls team finished with 40 points which placed them 6th. The 4x1 team (Rachel Johnson, Lauren Edgecombe, Tarryn Tietjen, Jasmine Kovacs) placed 5th with a time of 55.24. The 4x4 team (Allison Tietjen, Rachel Johnson, Hailey Huhman, Lauren Edgecombe) finished 8th with a time of 4:42.03. The 4x8 team (Rachel Heitmann, Bailey Linton, Sydney Cottam, Hailey Huhman) placed 6th with a time of 11:02.85. Congratulations to the following for placing:

Madison Reece - 1st in 1600m run (New School Record 5:40.47), 1st in 3200m run (New School Record 12:19.00)
