Fillmore Central Invite Results

The Thayer Central track team competed at the Fillmore Central Invite on Thursday, May 5th. The girls team placed third with 89.33 total team points. The 4x8 team (Bailey Linton, Madison Reece, Allison Tietjen, Hailey Huhman) placed 2nd with a time of 10:24.53. The field event 4x1 placed 4th with a time of 1:01.91. The 4x1 team(Jasmine Kovacs, Rachel Johnson, Lauren Edgecombe, Tarryn Tietjen) placed 4th with a time of 54.52. The 4x4 team (Madison Reece, Allison Tietjen, Lauren Edgecombe, Hailey Huhman) ran a 4:35.25 to get 3rd place. Congratulations to the following for placing:

Bidgette Baden - 4th in long jump, 6th in 800m run

Rachel Johnson - 5th in long jump, 4th in 100m hurdles

Allison Tietjen - 3rd in triple jump, 5th in 400m dash

Kelsey Long - 4th in discus

Megan Bulin - 1st in shot put

Jasmine Kovacs - 2nd in 100m hurdles

Lauren Edgecombe - 4th in 100m dash, 4th in 200m dash

Claire Johnson - 6th in the 400m dash

Tiffany Walsh - 6th in 300m hurdles

Madison Reece - 3rd in 800m run

Bailey Linton - 5th in 800m run

The boys team finished with 153 point to land 1st place. The 4x8 team (Jamie Lange, Jared Marsh, Adam Hellbusch, Trev Mumm) placed 2nd with a time of 8:38.58. The field event 4x1 (Colby Remmers, Cody Mumm, Preston Brinegar, Chris Kovacs) placed 1st with a time of 51.1. The 4x1 team (Macaulay Mumm, Jacob Kniep, Kalen Wenske, Dalton Kenning) ran a 46.87 to place 4th. The 4x4 team (Trev Mumm, Jared Marsh, Jamie Lange, Cameron Asche) ran a 3:39.55 to place 2nd.
