Betty Meyer
Betty Meyer graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1975 with a degree in Elementary Education and Vocal Music. She has taught in Omaha, Lincoln, Bruning, and has been the media specialist for Thayer Central Community School system since 1991. She is in charge of the media centers at the Primary, Intermediate and High School. She received her masters degree in 1979 and has endorsements in early childhood education and Library /Media Specialist. She is married and has two children. Betty currently is the Chair for SCYP (School, children, young people)section for the Nebraska Library Association, she is also President of Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Women's International Sorority and is a member of many other professional and educational organizations.
