Education
I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in August 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science and English. I also have a K-12 teaching endorsement with emphasis on 7-12 math and computer science.

Biographical Information
I am currently in my 14th year of teaching at Hebron/Thayer Central. I am the head softball coach. Prior to teaching in Hebron, I taught in Bruning and Geneva. My teaching philosophy is that I believe all students are capable of learning. It is my job, as a teacher, to find the best way to reach each student.
I live on an acreage by Bruning with my husband, Alan, four children, Ryan, Melissa, Sara and Megan and a lot of different animals. Alan works for NuStar Pipeline in Geneva. Ryan is a freshman at SCC in Beatrice, Melissa is a senior, Sara is a sophomore and Megan is an 8th grader at Thayer Central. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching various sporting events.
