Mrs. Kathy Dunback teaches Adv. English 10, English11, Applied English 12, World Languages 7; facilitates the Advanced Placement Literature 12 online class; coaches the competition Play Production one-act and helps sponsor the senior class. This is her 24th year with Thayer County schools and her 28th year in the classroom altogether, the last four at the Hebron facility, a 60-mile commute back and forth every day.
She holds a BA in Modern Languages from KSU, and she has completed secondary English certification as well as extensive graduate work in French literature, linguistics, and educational technology. She hopes to complete the online MS in Curriculum and Instruction from PSC in May 2008.
She and her husband Steve, a farmer/stockman in Republic County, Kansas. have two married children and a two-year-old grandson who likes to go fishing with his grandpa Steve.
