My teaching career at Hebron/Thayer Central began in 1988 with the exception of the 2004-05 school year. My duties have included: Instrumental Music (grades 5-12), Pep Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Vocal Music (grades 6-8), Music Appreciation, Beginning & Advanced Music Theory.
I graduated from Kearney State College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Comprehensive Music Degree, which qualifies me to teach Instrumental, Vocal, and Orchestra, grades K-12. My previous teaching experience was in Loomis, Ainsworth, Clay Center, Gilead, and Bruning.
I’ve been married for 34 years to Randy and we have two children. Jenny has her Doctorate’s Degree in Pharmacy. She married a Hebron native, Brandon Priefert. They live in Glenwood, IA with their son, Grayson. Miranda will graduate from the University of Colorado in December 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering. She is doing an internship with NASA this summer.
