Two Thayer Central students participated in the Kearney Underclassmen Honor Band on Monday, January 15th. Students in grades 9 and 10 could be nominated by their directors. The Thayer Central Book Club has chosen "The Bear and the Nightingale" by Katherine Arden to read next. This story is about a young girl growing up in the snowy Russian wilderness. We had fun exploring the animals that live in the Arctic in preschool this week. We painted with frozen paint, rescued animals frozen in ice, and conquered the challenge of painting ice! Lady Titan Basketball Finds Time to Give Back The Thayer Central Lady Titans basketball team traveled to Lincoln to compete in the Nebraska Wesleyan Holiday tournament on December 28-30th.
