Norris Math Competition Champions
Thayer Central Wins All Five Competitions

A team of Thayer Central 5th and 6th grade math students attended the Norris 5th-6th Math Contest on April 1, 2008. The team came away with all 5 trophies. Categories included Top Individual, (Jarrod Bantam) Top Individual Team (3) (Jarrod Bantam, Caryn Friesen, and Ben Hintz), Mathletics, Quiz Bowl, and Overall Combined Score Champions.
6th Grade team members included: Jarrod Bantam, Caryn Friesen, Ben Hintz, Heath Fink, Cameron Asche, Tyler Edwards, and Trev Mumm.
5th grade members were: Tyler Hergott, Rachel Heitmann, Ben Baden, Thomas Feulner, Chris Kovacs, and Caleb Krupicka.
