SKIP-Flu Immunization Clinic

SKIP Flu Immunization Clinic Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease that spreads around the United States every winter, usually between October and May.  It is mainly spread by coughing, sneezing, and close contact, and the risk of getting flu is highest among children. The Flu vaccine is the best protection against flu and its complications.  Flu vaccine also helps to prevent spreading flu from person to person. Let's Go Camping!

LET’S GO CAMPING             Our first Elementary Family Night Event for this school year will be on Thursday, October 2 nd as we walk into a world of twinkling stars, chirping crickets, tents and campfires.  This reading themed family night will start at 6:30.  We will plan on it lasting approximately 1 hour, ending in time to go over and watch the Titans take on Red Cloud in volleyball. Walk Wednesdays

Thayer Central Elementary  have started Walk Wednesday again. Every Wednesday, weather permitting students can meet at the courthouse at 7:50 a.m. and  walk to school together.  Along with students from grades kindergarten through 6 th grades, there are high school and junior high helpers plus a few teachers who walk with the students to both schools.   This is a great way to encourage our students to  be involved with healthy and active activities.   The next walk Wednesday will be September 17 . . . read more Feedback
