It all began with reading the book, The Dot by Peter H Reynolds. Next, every child in grades Kindergarten through fourth grade had a chance to make a dot. Using paint, scrap paper, marker or oil pastels, the dots were created, no two alike. Finally, all of the individual dots were combined to form one tremendous dot. " All One - Each Unique!" is the title of our collective art piece.

The yearly calendar for the 2019-2020 school year has been amended by the Thayer Central Board of Education. Thayer Central will be hosting 3 district speech contests on March 16. Therefore, school will not be in session on the 16th. It is a no student day, staff will report. See the revised calendar below.
