The Thayer Central JH Boys Basketball team finished up their regular season on Friday, February. Overall, we had a pretty good season with 14 team members that came to practice every day wanting to get better, a group that worked hard, and a group never quit. The coaches and team members would like to thank the parents and families of the players and everyone else that supported us throughout our season.
We would also like to thank the Degenhardt family for feeding us after our Superior game and the Kuhlmann and Degenhardt families who fed us after our Fillmore Central game.
We were once again fortunate to have Trevor Gill of Busted Lens photography take action pictures of our team members during some of our games and we need to thank him for doing so.
A group of our team decided to play in the 6th annual Thayer Central Youth basketball tournament on Sunday, February 19th. We were able to play against all different teams during this tournament and competed very well against each opponent. We would like to thank all of the people who organized and helped run this tournament in different roles and all of the people including high school basketball players who volunteered their time to help out at this tournament.
