Serving community volunteer hours was implemented as part of TC's school improvement goal during the 2022-23 school year. This year, all freshman will also join the 10th-12th grade students who served hours in the past. Students are asked to volunteer at least 5 hours within the community each semester.
Volunteerism is important for many reasons including helping provide students with a sense of purpose and community, improving social skills while meeting new people, and taking pride in our communities. This project's hope is that students will give their time now and continue doing so into adulthood.
