The Thayer Central FFA has been very busy the last month. We had three members receive their State Degrees, Abby Barton, Will Heitmann, and Caitlyn Mitchell. During FFA week students participated in a petting zoo, dress up days, and we had community members visit the Ag Classes. Members competed in Career Development Events February 27th. The Food Science team placed 8th, Braelyn Degenhardt placed 16th, Peyton Miller 48th, Brady Degenhardt 70th, and Conner Schardt 72nd. The Ag Mechanics team placed 14th, Conner Schardt placed 3rd, Drew Cunningham 20th, and Colt Laaker 59th. The Floriculture team placed 7th, Bradley Neff 3rd, Caitlyn Mitchell 40th, Abby Barton 56th, Taivry Virus 57th. The Vet Science team placed 13th, Riley Farnstrom 39th, Kaelyn Buster 48th, Cami Kunc 55th. The Agriscience team placed 12th, Jocelyn Mumm 22nd, Keirsten Heinrichs 26th, Maylin Day 85th, Erica Kolar 93rd. The livestock management team of Colter Sinn, Colt Laaker, Keirsten Heinrichs, Jocelynn Mumm, and Ava Risher placed 19. The Thayer Central FFA is hosting their FFA Banquet on Thursday, April 25th and their Plant sale is May 3rd.
