On Friday, March 19th the JH Band, JH Choir and 6th Grade Band participated in the Malcolm Music Contest. This was a new experience for many of the students since last year’s contest was cancelled due to COVID. The 6th grade band received a 1 rating from the judges, the JH Band received a 2, and the JH Choir received a 1. All of the groups received feedback from three separate judges and will use these comments to continue to grow as musicians. All of the students did a wonderful job both of making music and representing Thayer Central!
