The Thayer Central Cross Country team has lots of new faces this year to add to our experienced runners. The girls and boys will both field full teams this year of 7 runners apiece.
Team members for the girls include: Sydney Escritt, Megan Lukert, Beth Poisel, Halle Pulliam, Elle Sudbeck, Kara Hartley, Madison Hammer and Taylor Broers. Lachlan Pickering, Christian Krupicka, Bradley Neff, Adam Lukert, Ben Hammer, and Colter Sinn make up the boys’ team.
Junior High is also sporting great numbers with 6 runners competing in meets: Izzy Escritt, Alex Hammer, Alicia Howe, Chase Clark, Milo Waters, and Savannah Smith
The Thayer Central Cross Country team will open its season at Superior on Thursday, September 2nd. The meet begins at 4:30 and is held at the Superior Country Club.
