This week is Fire Safety Week! The Hebron Fire Department came to school early this week to teach the kids about fire safety. They learned to check their houses for fire alarms. Remember to check your batteries at least once a year! They also got to try on the fire gear, use a fire extinguisher to put out a real fire, climb in the fire engines, and practice crawling through a smoky room. They also received fun baggies full of goodies from the fire fighters.
When using a fire extinguisher remember PASS: Pull the clip, Aim the hose, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep the area.
