On Thursday, October 7th, The Thayer Central Cross Country team is hosting a cancer awareness night at the Southern Nebraska Conference Cross Country Meet held this year at the Hebron Country Club. Runners and coaches from the conference schools will be honoring loved ones and friends affected by cancer with posters and yard signs posted at the meet.
The meet is to begin at 5:00, with girls running at 5 pm and the boys to follow shortly after. The team would like to thank Shelly Pullium for heading up this project.
