The TC 5th and 6th graders had the opportunity to tour the NE State Capitol on November 17, 2021. They enjoyed an excellent tour, learning about the branches of government, the history and building of the Capitol, and the amazing art that tells the story of our state.
After enjoying lunch, the students toured the Nebraska History Museum. Their tour guide explained the different exhibits, primary sources, and how historians handle artifacts. Then the students participated in an activity while exploring the exhibits to describe and understand one artifact of their choice.
