On November 9 the US History class took a field trip to Kansas City. The main reason for the trip was to explore the National World War I Museum and Memorial. Due to COVID restrictions, tour guides were not available so students presented to each other throughout the museum.
We started the day at the Money Museum, which is part of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Students experienced some Kansas City BBQ culture and ate at Joe's Kansas City BBQ. Along with the WWI Museum and Money Museum, students were also able attend a traveling exhibit about Auschwitz at Union Station.
