The championship trophy of the 2022 Thayer Central Math Contest was earned by the home team. Select TC 6th, 7th and 8th graders combined their scores from an individual round, team round, and quiz bowl round to accumulate the highest total of the 11 participating area schools.
Representing the 6th grade were Peyton Hubl--1st place individual, Jaxson Bowers--4th place individual, and Jonas Waters. 7th graders were Jocelynn Mumm, Mackenzie Hergott, and Deklann Deharsh. 8th graders were Murphy Sudbeck and Carson McLaughlin--tied for 2nd in the individual test, and Brady Degenhardt--5th place individual. The 8th graders also won the gold medals in both the team round and the quiz bowl round.
