Thayer Central Community Schools

TC's newest class, Industrial Robotics, had the opportunity to visit MetalQuest during the first week of school.  The first group of 8th graders saw first hand how industrial robots are used  in manufacturing.  Over the next quarter the students will learn to code VexV5 Workcells, which were purchased through the Developing Youth Talent Initiative grant awarded to MetalQuest.  Throughout the school year all junior high students will get to take this course with the goal of allowing students to learn more about manufacturing and the demand for this technical skill.
