Mrs. Tietjen challenged her kindergarten class to build a house, out of straws, big enough for Mr. Hoops (elementary principal) to sit in. It was a lesson to build teamwork through creative thinking and sharing of ideas.
She divided the class up in three groups, with each group having 15 minutes to build and add on to the previous group’s structure. At the end of 45 minutes....
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! Mr. Hoops enjoyed his straw house, with the creative built luxury of a ceiling fan, dog house, cat house, outside walk-in closet, driveway with a railing and a flag.
