Members of the 2022-2023 Thayer Central Elementary Student Council!
Great start to the junior high quiz bowl season! 3rd place finish among 25 teams at the NAMI contest at Seward on Wednesday.
Thank you to Sargent Pascual and Airman Engle for visiting the seniors today to inform them about the Air Force and providing lunch. It’s always great to see a former Titan!!! ✈️ 💛🖤
Second grade students learned about Election Day and had a chance to vote themselves! Students were asked to create campaign posters, write about their choice, and vote on which cookie is the best: Oreo or Chips Ahoy. After adding up the votes, the winner was....OREO!!
Thayer Central Veterans Day Program will be Friday, Nov. 11th at 2:00 pm in the old high school gym. Everyone is welcome. Veterans and their families are invited to a reception in the cafeteria following the program.

As we approach the holiday season, please consider giving the gift of life at the High School Student Council Blood Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 29th from 9:00 - 4:00 in the HS parking lot. 6 high school band students ready to start the day at Doane Honor Band! Concert tonight. Congrats on being selected to participate!
Cross Country will have their end of the season Ice Cream Social in the commons on Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 6:00 pm. This is for JH and HS runners and family members.
Bring uniforms and water bottles, if you haven't turned them in yet.

Eight 8th grade singers had a great day at the Crete Vocal Festival on Thursday, November 3rd! Students rehearsed during the day and performed a concert along with 100 other singers. From L-R: Keirsten, Jocelynn, Maylin, Erica, Roy, Kaleb, Alex, Deklann.

Congratulations to the FFA members who went Livestock Judging in York on Wednesday! 🐄🐖🐑🐐
The senior team of Avery 4th, Duncan 46th, Taivry 49th and Will 89th with the team finishing 12th.
Cole was our only junior and earned 20th.
The JH finished 4th as a team with Olivia 1st, Paige 19th, Aydrian 37th, Jocelynn 56th and Taylor 69th! 💙💛
Congrats to both the 5th and 6th grade quiz bowlers for each winning their grade division of the Southern NE Fall QB contest!
It's quiz bowl time! The Thayer Central Elementary Quiz Bowl will take place today, starting at 4:00 pm. Matches will be held in the old north wing of the high school building. You may enter the building using the new south entrance.
