SCHEDULE UPDATE: For Friday's HS Basketball games at Hanover, there will NOT be a Girls JV game. The Boys JV game will begin at 4:45, followed by Varsity Girls and Boys games.
Tonight HS Jamboree Basketball Games between Thayer Central and BDS can be streamed on the BDS Striv page. Girls will tip off at 6:00 and boys at 7:30. Games will be held in Davenport.

The 2nd graders were celebrating the end of their ANCIENT GREEK CIVILIZATION unit by participating in their own Olympic Games. The Olympic Spirit is a part of the 2nd grade experience.

First grade completed their CKLA Knowledge Unit on Early World Civilizations. They studied Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. This included The Great Pyramid and Sphinx. We celebrated by making pyramids with sugar cubes!

Aydrian Meyer and Ava Stierlen were invited to attend the Commissioner’s Recognition for Excellence in Career and Technical Education for their efforts at National SkillsUSA!
7th grade attended InVenture Day hosted by the Nuckolls Co Extension office.
Students were tasked with creating a new product based on the design of a widget given to each group.
The team of Tye Stephens, Nora Peithmann, Leah Marsh, and Brendan Kunc were the overall champions selected by judges. Their product, Wave Player, was a Bluetooth headphone + projector combo.
The team of Atlie Wiedel, Chloe Sheff, Maeghan Donahoe, Colin Huber, and Landon Powers were the "fan favorite" of the day with their product The Hair Stopper.

They haves shown strong academic achievement and held at least two leadership roles in the past 2 years in school, their church and/or their community.
