
Today's Cross Country Meet at the Hebron Country Club has been canceled due to the rain on the course yesterday. At this point, there is no date selected for a rescheduling of this event.

Due to Deshler having low numbers on their Volleyball Team - the Reserve game on Thursday, September 22nd will begin at 5:30 pm (instead of 5 pm). Reserve will play 1 set only, then JV will play best 2 out of 3. Varsity will finish up the night.

Entry into the Football/Track Complex from this point forward will flow through the new South Entrance of the school. Once inside the building people will make a right and then a left and go down the new hallway East of the New Gym. Thayer Central will have someone at the entry point to help direct all foot traffic coming to the game.

XC runners were at Fillmore Central on Thursday afternoon. Titans had a tough run but showed grit to get it done. Izzy Escritt brought home the 20th place medal for the girls. GO TITANS!

Our students and staff have been busy preparing for homecoming this week. Tomorrow is the big day! The homecoming parade is scheduled to take place on Friday at 2:30. The parade will begin on Eads Avenue in front of the high school, will head south on 10th Street to Lincoln Ave., and will proceed west on Lincoln Avenue to the corner by Thayer County Bank, where the pep rally will take place.
The football game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. with the coronation taking place right after game on the field in front of the bleachers. We hope to see a great turnout for these Titan events!

The preschoolers have enjoyed playing outside, especially with our new music station. They really know how to make some noise!

XC Team Runs at Fairbury.
The junior high and high school teams ran a hard race on Thursday at Fairbury.
Joah Anderson and Izzy Escritt both finished in 13th place. The other athletes finished with good times. Way to go Titans!

Due to Technological Issues the Football Game vs Sutton will not be streamed tonight. The district plans to stream the game vs Palmyra on September 16th. Go Titans!!!

Opening for a Para-Professional Position at Thayer Central
Thayer Central is looking for a Full Time Para-Professional to work with students in the classroom and in small groups outside the classroom. Pay begins at $15 an hour and moves to $16.50 an hour after 6 months and positive reviews. The schedule would follow the student calendar and hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
