Thayer Central Sneak Peak is Friday, August 12th from 3:30-6:00 at the Elementary and Junior High/High School. Junior High and High School students can stop by the high school media center to get their schedules and lockers. Staff will be around to help with lockers and answer any questions.
The date for the Stu Co BBQ, pep rally, and athletic parent meeting has been changed to Friday, August 19th:

Stu Co will begin to serve hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, treats, and water at 6:15 p.m. outside the main high school entrance. Parents and athletes can eat in the newly AIR CONDITIONED gym. The pep rally will begin at 7 p.m. with Mr. Page speaking briefly to the whole audience. The fall sports coaches will then break out to sport-specific parent/player meetings to go over information, paperwork, and requirements. We hope to see a great crowd as we kick off the 2022-2023 school year. Go Titans!

The HS Student Council will meet Thursday, August 11th, at 2:00 p.m. in Mrs. Harms' classroom. If you are a member, please make every effort to attend this important meeting. We will be finished in time for afternoon practices. See you soon!
2022 Thayer Central Cross Country apparel can be ordered online from the Sport Shack! Online orders can be placed until 8am Aug. 17th. Orders will be delivered to the school on Aug 25th.

2022 Youth Football Season is starting! If you have a child that will be in 4-6th grade and attends school in Thayer county, please be at the Deshler practice field (south side of the high school) this Thursday, July 28th at 7:00pm to check out equipment! Two Thayer Central Coaches honored at Nebraska Coaches Association Dinner. Mr. Clint Havel received the, "Jim Farrand Memorial Award," and Mrs. Deb Vorderstrasse was honored for 45 Years of Coaching! To Great Coaches and even better People honored in the Titan Family for outstanding work coaching young people!
Teachers in grades Preschool through 5th Grade have completed training in our new reading curriculum during the last two days! Special thanks to SCC Learning Center in Hebron for allowing us to use their facility!

High school & Jr High camp next week 8-10:30. Helmet & shoulder pad checkout July 14 from 7:30-8:30 am. High school in Havel’s room and junior high on high school stage.
During the month of June there were close to 90 athletes that got their hands on a basketball and made themselves better. It was great to see all the girls who took time out of their days to improve on various aspects of the game. Very excited for the future of Titan Basketball. "Find someone who inspires you, and motivate yourself to be better than them."
2022 Thayer Central Volleyball Camp
The 2022 Thayer Central VB team will be hosting a Volleyball Camp for players entering grades 2-8 on August 2-4. Grades 2-5 @ 8:30-10:00 and Grades 6-8 @ 10:00-11:30.
The camp deadline is Friday, July 22!

Thayer Central high school football meeting will be held this Friday morning, July 8th at 8:30 am in the intermediate gym for those high school students interested in playing football. Players will meet with Coach Hoins to go over expectations and important dates for the upcoming football season. After the meeting there will be skills/workout session at the practice field from 9:00-10:00 am. Athletes should bring their cleats and their own water bottles for water breaks.
