The seniors participated in their Senior Professional Day on Wednesday. Seniors prepared for the day by creating resumes', filling out job applicaitons and learning about interview skills. They engaged in mock interviews with 12 area business persons. After interviews, everyone enjoyed a business lunch to network with our business partners.
Biology students had a live Zoom call with the Henry Doorley Zoo's elephants. Holly gave an informative lesson on their genetics, history, & Zoo conservation efforts. We were able to see the newest addition-a male born Sunday! At present, the Zoo has 5 moms and 5 calves.

Today, 19 Titan Speech members competed at the Sutton Speech Invitational. We had 24 entries and came out of the meet with eight medals. Elle Sudbeck= 2nd in Serious Prose, 3rd in POI, and 9th in Poetry, Kara Hartley= 1st in Entertainment, 7th Persuasive Speaking, Adam Lukert= 4th in Informative, Riley Farnstrom and Adam Lukert= 5th in Duet, Deklann Daharsh= 9th in Entertainment (not pictured). Congratulations to all!

Summer Rec forms went home in the student Friday folders for the upcoming summer ball season. An error was caught on the form. The date for girls' softball was incorrect. The correct information is the age they are as of 8/31/23. Correct info. is highlighted in the picture
It's been a whirlwind in the TC Speech world these last few weeks. Last Friday, February 9th, the team competed at the Grand Island Central Catholic speech meet. We had several medalists: Elle Sudbeck= 11th in Serious Prose, Adam Lukert=9th in Informative, Riley Farnstrom= 12th in Informative, Adam and Riley= 8th in Duet, Kara Hartley= 5th in Persuasive and 4th in Entertainment. On Saturday, Feb. 10, a smaller section of our team headed to David City to compete in our second largest meet of the year. The David City medalists were: Miley Smith and Kaitlynn Cast= 2nd in JV duet. Tori Swartzendruber= 5th JV Persuasive, and Kara Harley= 5th in Varsity Persuasive. We're so proud of all of our competitors!
