MORNING WEIGHTS NOTICE: With frigid temps and wind chills predicted this week, we are going to POSTPONE the start of morning weights one week. A reminder, those are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this semester. First morning weights will now be 1/23. Thank you.
All Thayer Central Activities for Saturday & Sunday, January 13&14 have been postponed or cancelled including youth basketball league. Administration will provide a complete list of rescheduled events as soon as they are finalized. Thank you and have a safe weekend!

Due to MULTIPLE rescheduled activities: The Thayer Central Board of Education will change it's meeting time on Monday, January 15. The BOE will now meet at 7:00AM in the HS Media Center! We are sorry for any problems this may cause.

UPDATE ON EVENTS: JH Basketball Games vs Heartland for tonight (1/11) have been postponed; Girls Wrestling for tomorrow (1/12) at Superior has also been postponed to a later date. High School basketball at Sutton for tomorrow (1/12) has been postponed to Monday, 1/15. First game will start at 4:30.
Third quarter robotics students had the opportunity to visit MetalQuest today to view robots in action. Thanks to MetalQuest and Will B for all the information you shared with us!
CHANGE IN SCHEDULE: The JV Basketball Games vs BDS have been MOVED to January 18th (was Jan. 15th). Games will be the Elementary Gym. All people attending are asked to enter through the new district entrance. The games will tip off at 4:30 PM.
Due to weather, we are postponing the RETIREE CELEBRATION ON SATURDAY. The next date is SATURDAY, JANUARY 27TH WITH THE SAME TIME FRAME.
BASKETBALL NOTIFICATION: On Saturday, January 13th the basketball schedule is being altered. Below is the new schedule of events:
9:30 AM - JH vs Fairbury ("B" Game)
10:30 - JH vs Fairbury ("A" Game)
12:30 PM - JV vs Milford (NOTE: There is no JV Girls Game)
1:45 PM - Varsity Girls vs Milford (Little Titans Cheer at Halftime)
3:30 PM - Varsity Boys vs Milford
The Retired Teachers Event has been MOVED to 1/27 (Home Basketball vs David City).

Titan Basketball Fans: There will be Soup Feed hosted by Sutton Sophomores following the JV games on 1/12 at Sutton. Consider this for your supper plans while supporting a fellow SNC school.
Thayer Central will begin school at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 10. First Student will run alternate bus routes and pick up points. If you still feel it is unsafe for your child to travel to school please contact the school at your earliest convenience.
