Around 8:00AM Monday Morning the TCCS Administration was notified of a fire on our Titan Coach Bus as 6th and 8th grade students traveled to Lincoln. We would like to inform everyone that all students, staff members and the driver were safely evacuated from the vehicle without injury. The TCCS Administration would like to thank the Fairmont, Ne Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the Fillmore Co. Sheriff's Dept. & McCool Junction Community Schools for their help in ensuring our student's safety. We appreciate all who were willing to come out and help the members of our Titan Family & get them home safely.

Calling all 5th-grade band parents and guardians! The 5th-grade band is doing a practice challenge to see who can get to 30 days of practice. They have the challenge sheet, but what we need from you is to encourage them to practice and remind them to color it in! 30 minutes of practice time is the goal, but even 10 minutes can help a young musician grow. Encouragement from an adult outside of school is one of the most motivating ways to boost practice time. Listen in on their practice session or have them perform their favorite song for you to show off their super cool skills.

Thayer Central National Honor Society participated in the Hebron Chamber of Commerce Trunk or Treat. Their Candy Land theme was popular with the kids.

PHS Community Flu and Teddy Bear Clinic POSTPONED!

We have a Veteran Wall set up in the hall between elementary and HS to honor veterans (deceased or living) and active duty. If you have a special veteran or active duty person that isn't on the board, we'd love to honor them with a picture and short description of their military service. You can email the picture and information to kathy.brzon@thayercentral.net or drop it by the high school office.

Thayer Central will be honoring veterans and active duty persons on Friday, Nov. 10th at 2:00 pm in the Thayer Central Event Center. All are welcome to attend.
