It's been a whirlwind in the TC Speech world these last few weeks. Last Friday, February 9th, the team competed at the Grand Island Central Catholic speech meet. We had several medalists: Elle Sudbeck= 11th in Serious Prose, Adam Lukert=9th in Informative, Riley Farnstrom= 12th in Informative, Adam and Riley= 8th in Duet, Kara Hartley= 5th in Persuasive and 4th in Entertainment. On Saturday, Feb. 10, a smaller section of our team headed to David City to compete in our second largest meet of the year. The David City medalists were: Miley Smith and Kaitlynn Cast= 2nd in JV duet. Tori Swartzendruber= 5th JV Persuasive, and Kara Harley= 5th in Varsity Persuasive. We're so proud of all of our competitors!

Wyatt, Desiree, and Hayden participated in the rescheduled Doane Vocal Festival on February 15th and performed in a concert that evening. Congratulations to these Titan singers!

After round two of wrestling, Cole is 2-0 Dylan is 1-1 and James is 0-1. Tomorrow wrestling begins at 9am and Cole will wrestle semis at 6:30pm. Good luck Titans

As an extension to our unit on Westward Expansion, Amanda from the Homestead National Monument presented the Buffalo Trunk to our second graders. Student learned all of the different ways that a buffalo was used by the Native Americans.
Third grade celebrated Valentine's Day by showing off their amazingly creative Valentine boxes! We paraded around the school with our boxes. We received a lot of compliments!
