NOTICE: For Saturday's Basketball contest vs Fairbury, there will be NO JV Girls game. This adjusts the start time to a 2:00 tip-off for the Boys JV Game, with Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity following.

Thayer Central Elementary students are invited to share in a special reading event called "One School, One Book." The 2023 One School, One Book is...Wishtree by Katherine Applegate. All students have the book and schedule for this reading event. HAPPY READING!
I would like to thank the students and staff that performed last night during the Christmas program and caroling. I missed a picture of Nora Peithmann. Many will be performing at the school Christmas concert also.
SCHEDULE NOTICE: For the High School Basketball games on Tuesday against Diller-Odell, both JV games will begin at 4:30 (Girls JV in the Elementary Gym - 2 Quarters; Boys JV in the High School Gym - Full Game). Varsity games will be held in the High School gym after the Boys JV contest (Girls Varsity followed by Boys Varsity).
On Saturday, all games against Fairbury, will be in the High School Gym, starting at 1:30.

We are excited to celebrate the former athletes of Thayer Central. These Titans were not only Nebraska State Champions, but Back-To-Back State Champions. Please join us for a special recognition event on December 9th, 2023 between the Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball games.
Mrs. Eickman's Animal Science classes have been learning about digestive systems and today they had to illustrate a ruminant 🐮 vs a non-ruminate 🐷
Mr Waters art class recreated Thomas Hart Benton's Cradling Wheat. This piece is on display outside the high school office.
We would like to thank Rebel Robotics and NinJava for bringing their robots down from Norfolk and Columbus to show our students. They talked about the competitive robotics competitions they compete in.
