SCHEDULE CHANGE REMINDER: There Will Be NO SCHOOL For Students At Thayer Central Community Schools On THURSDAY, MAY 11TH. This Schedule Change Is To Accommodate Thayer Central Community Schools Hosting The District Track Meet.

Athletic Physical for $25 for Athletes entering 8-12th Grades provided by Thayer County Health Services. Physicals will NOT be sent through insurance. You must email or call Staci Hergott if your child will be examined - staci.hergott@thayercentral.net or 402-768-6117.




Our last quarter of Robotics class coded their initials using a 2D List. We've learned that a little pre-planning makes coding easier!


Tuesday the 9th the high school Art dept will have their annual Art Show and Silent Auction from 6:00 pm through the end of the Pops concert. Prepare for a feast of the eyes and ears this evening!

We could not be more proud of these girls. Their hard work all season has paid off. This season they broke all four (4x1, 4x2, 4x4, and 4x8) JH relay records!! And today they won the JH conference meet!

Another fun Friday in Mrs. Tietjen's kindergarten class! Today they got a pile of shaving cream on their table and got to smash it, squish it, and write in it. The students enjoyed covering their table with the white foam.😊





🍪 Food science made some no bake cookies yesterday, but it was a flop. So today they brought yogurt and make parfaits!!!! 🍦



Weekly Elementary Newsletter 5/4/23


The 6th grade music class invited the morning preschool to visit their class and sing along with them as they performed on ukuleles and percussion. "Wheels on the Bus" and "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" were big hits!


The Rising STARS had a fun Kindergarten transition today- we got to eat in the cafeteria!! We are thankful for our kitchen staff for accommodating us.




Halle Pulliam has dreamed of cheering in college ever since she was younger and Icouldn’t be more excited to go next level. Halle says couldn’t have done it without my teammates and coaches support through everything. Go Reivers!




An awesome group of senior and junior girls giving back to the community by volunteering at the Majestic Theatre.


The freshman Intro to Ag class started the welding unit and these kids are loving it! Not only do they enjoy being in the shop but they are actually some pretty great welders!!! 👩🏭 🧑🏭 Special thank you to Reinke's for letting us borrow some scrap metal to weld on!!!!
