8th grade science classes are studying Force and Motion. Today's lab investigated mass and rolling motion.
Eight Thayer Central 9th and 10th grade choir students attended the Doane Froshmore festival on September 20th. They rehearsed all day and performed in a concert that evening. They even made new friends and met up with a TC grad who now attends Doane! Congrats to these Titan singers!

Mrs. Baden has been busy rallying students, staff, and support staff in creating a school wide artwork. Today many voluteered to help with the assembly process of this MASSIVE work! Soon, all will be able to view the "Titan Family Circles" mural in the connecting hallway!!

It's Pink Out Week! Come support the Titans and their fundraising efforts to help our community members in their cancer battles! You can win one of these blankets at volleyball and one at football. They were made by our senior cross country, volleyball and football athletes.
Come join TC fall sports on Tuesday and Friday for a quacky event! Purchase a duck(s) at the games to help us support local Titan families fighting cancer.
Thayer Central Youth Volleyball hosted a morning full of volleyball play. It was awesome being able to use all of the facilities at Thayer Central. Great job TC Titans!

3rd grade celebrated the end of our Classic Tales unit with a Tea Party!

2nd Grade wrapped up their Fairytales and Tall Tales unit this week. We celebrated with Paul Bunyan's flap jacks.
Mrs. Long's second graders finished up their Ocean Science unit this week. We learned all about the ocean zones and ocean animals. We put all of our information into our clownfish folders. We also made oceans in a bottle to show the different ocean zones.

It was a good day for the Titan Runners at the FIllmore Central meet. Adam Lukert brought home the 14th place medal! The majority of runners ran a PR as well.
