As an extension to our unit on Westward Expansion, Amanda from the Homestead National Monument presented the Buffalo Trunk to our second graders. Student learned all of the different ways that a buffalo was used by the Native Americans.
Third grade celebrated Valentine's Day by showing off their amazingly creative Valentine boxes! We paraded around the school with our boxes. We received a lot of compliments!
