REMINDER: Thayer Central Community Schools will dismiss at 1:00 today due to the home wrestling meet.
Thayer Central Community Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 19th due to power outages and road conditions. There will be no evening activities. Be safe and go Titans!
New School Record! Last night Natalie Tietjen set the single game scoring record with 29 against Friend. Congratulations!
There will be NO JV Girls Basketball tonight at Thayer Central. JV Boys will start at 4:30 pm and Girls Varsity will begin around 6:15 pm with Boys Varsity to follow.
Shout out to Junior Natalie Tietjen on tying the school record for most points in a game. Natalie scored 28 points vs Milford on Saturday night, which ties her with Michaela Marsh (Houchin) as the record holders. Congratulations Natalie!

TC girls basketball had their Team Thursday with the theme of "Rhyme without Reason." Players were partnered up and had to create rhyming costumes. We were very impressed with how competitive and creative each group was. After a finally tally of the score sheet, "James Bond and Legally Blonde" were the winners. Three senior Thayer Central singers were selected to the Doane Vocal Festival held January 8th-9th in Crete, Nebraska. (From L-R) Beth Poisel, Mackenzie Cast, and Madi Hammer rehearsed for 9 hours over two days and performed in a concert along with 230 singers from 50 schools across the state. We are proud to have these women represent Thayer Central!
