SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR BASKETBALL ON 1/22/26:
There will be NO JV GIRLS BASKETBALL on Thursday, January 22nd at Cross County. Boys will tip off at 4:30, followed by the Varsity contests.
Miley, Katelynn, Wyatt, Roy, James, and Kaleb were selected for the Doane Vocal Festival held January 11th and 12th in Crete. They had a day and a half of rehearsals which culminated in a beautiful concert. Congrats to these singers!

Girls Wrestling UPDATED OPPONENT AND TIME- Due to participating school changes, Thayer Central will host Sandy Creek for a Dual at 4:30 (was originally a triangular at 5:30). This will take place in the Titan Event Center
Basketball vs Tri County UPDATED TIME AND SCHEDULE - Due to shortage of officials, we'll start games at 4:00 and all games will be in the HS Gym (rolling schedule, starting with Girls JV, then Boys JV, then Girls Varsity, then Boys Varsity)

Congrats to the elementary quiz bowl team for finishing in 3rd place at the Southern Invite Quiz bowl. The JH team finished in 4th place overall.

Congratulations to these Thayer Central students that made the Dean's List for Southeast Community College during the Fall Semester. To make the Dean's list, students had to be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and earn a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Outstanding work Titans! (Full year classes count as a spring semester class not a fall semester).

On Monday, January 12th during TT, Thayer Central recognized the outstanding academic efforts of their students by announcing the superior honor roll and honor roll for semester 1. One hundred and twenty seven 7-12th grade students were honored which is 60.2% of our student body. Seventy four students achieved Superior Honor Roll (earned all A’s) and 53 students achieved Honor Roll (earned A’s & B’s). Here are 7-12 Honor Roll Achievement Recipients. Congratulations to all of you!
