Thayer Central Mathletes had a great day at the 30th Annual Greater Southeast Nebraska Math Challenge held at Peru State College.
Geometry: Jocelyn 1st, Mackenzie 2nd, Deklann 3rd. Runner-up in Quiz Bowl and 1st place team trophy. Adv Algebra: Carson 1st, Murphy 2nd, Brady 3rd. First in quiz bowl and 1st place team trophy. Libby placed 3rd in Pre-Calc.

The Thayer Central Speech Team competed at District Speech today. We placed third as a team overall and came home with medals from eight events. We are so proud of all of our competitors for a great season, and want to wish a special CONGRATULATIONS to our 4 State Qualifiers! Dekalnn Daharsh in Entertainment, Kara Hartley in Entertainment and Persuasive, Adam Lukert in Informative Speaking, and Elle Sudbeck in Poetry.
