The TC elementary quiz bowl team picked up some wins, experience, and knowledge at their first meet of the season at Meridian. Their next contest is Monday, November 3rd at Thayer Central starting at 4:00 pm in the high school building.
4th grade wrote book recommendations as they are 'batty for books'. They also completed their second puzzle that Mrs. Baden donated to our class. They have 2 more to complete from her.

With the Subdistrict Final win last night, the Titan Volleyball Team secured their spot in hosting the C2-6 District Final this coming Saturday. The Titans will take on Hastings St. Cecilia at 3:00PM. See you there!

🧑🏭 The welders got to tour Reinke last week. We got to see their new robots and where their welds get tested. Overall it was a great tour and they learned a lot too! Thank you Reinkes for an awesome opportunity to weld in Deshler and for the tour! 🧑🏭
Preschool Students Enjoyed Working With Pumpkins This Week!
Kindergarten just wrapped up their Knowledge Unit on the Five Senses! Last week we had a "Five Senses Carnival and Circus" to practice using our senses. For the sense of "touch" we played carnival games, while using our sense of "hearing" to listen to carnival music, for the sense of "smell" we painted pictures with scented paint, for "sight" we watched a circus performance while we used our sense of "taste" to eat our circus snacks! We even had a circus clown make balloon animals!!
After that we teamed up with Mr. Havel's 6th grade class to do a five senses science project! We created slime using all of our senses, except for taste! It was a fun week of learning!

These two wonderful musicians put in hours of preparation and we are so proud of their achievement!
College Algebra did Bungee m&m's (or pennies) today. They collected data, analyzed the data and used the information to make a model. They then used their model to predict how many they could put in their cup to get as close to the floor as possible without hitting it.
